Last week gold made its move to hold on 1500 usd/oz. First half of week investors moved rising trend and yellow metal reached its highest level with 1546 usd/oz. Below 1550 usd/oz, short term investors wanted to see the profit. Gold regressed till around 1520 usd/oz level. Gold closed the week at 1535.35 usd/oz level. Silver price reached till 18.59 usd/oz and made closing with this level. According to previous week, Gold investors gained 2.3 % while silver investors were much more lucky with 8.2 % profit on weekly base. Totally almost 9 MT gold and 6 MT silver were realized.
Gold was priced with discount last week between 1.5-2.5 usd/oz margin. Actually in Turkey supply-demand balance is changeable, so premium or discount levels moving fast. Besides Silver always is sold with premium.
