DOUBLE VICTORY AT BORSA ISTANBUL WITH RISING GOLD AND SILVER PRICE

Last week gold price and trading volume increased at Borsa Istanbul. It was a gainful week with more than 15 MT gold trading. Investors turned to gold. There was a very wide price band as 90 usd/oz. Gold price finally passed over 1800 usd/oz and recorded 1817 usd/oz as the highest level of the week. In this way, gold gained value and investors got profit as 4,8%.

When we look silverside, silver was much more dynamic than gold. For a long time, silver price has been being expected to rise over 19 usd/oz and finally it reached 19,06 usd/oz. Silver gained almost 8% value in last week.  Totally 15.472 kg gold and 13.696 kg were traded at Borsa Istanbul.
