GOLD RESISTED TO THE BEARS

Last week at Borsa Istanbul, gold fluctuated by sharp selling that came on Tuesday. In the US, the Democrats and Republicans failed to reach a consensus on the stimulus package, and bears effected on Gold. After a fluctuated session, yellow metal balanced at 1908 usd/oz. According to previous week gold just lost 0.1 % value. 12,4 MT gold changed hands at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, gold investors continued to see their profit so gold price rolled down until 1900,17 usd/oz level at spot markets.

Silver also had a week of sales influence. Silver recorded its highest level at 25,18 usd/oz level. The closing was at 23.80 usd/oz level. White metal lost 0.2 % value with sales effect. Silver transaction volume was 7,9 MT at Borsa Istanbul. Silver closing in international markets was higher than Borsa Istanbul as 24,16 usd/oz level.
