INVESTORS GAINED AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Previous week, the news was still about US stimulus package and it finally ended up positively. There was also Fed meeting. It was very important meeting for markets. As a result of the meeting, there was no interest increase. Despite Fed’s pigeon discourse, the precious metals have been rising at Borsa Istanbul. 

Gold had a lucrative week at Borsa Istanbul. Gold price rose until 1884 usd/oz level. The closing was at 1877 usd/oz level. There was a very wide price band with 75 usd/oz level. Gold gained 3,4% value. Compared to last 2 weeks, the gain was the most. Gold’s demand was very low as almost 10 MT at Borsa Istanbul. 

When we look at silverside, we see that silver’s move was parallel with gold. Silver price reached its highest level at 25,70 usd/oz and completed the week with same level at Borsa Istanbul. That means white metal gained 7,5% value. Silver transaction volume was higher than last week at around 7 MT at Borsa.
