THE PRECIOUS METALS STILL BEING AFFECTED BY DECLINE AT BORSA ISTANBUL

At Borsa Istanbul gold price continuous to decline since last week. The vaccines news and increasing number of cases in Covid 19 enabled investors to sell. Precious metals were negatively affected due to this.

Although yellow metal recovered its price at the end of the week, it yet lost blood. Gold recorded its highest level at 1.895,10 usd/oz level but couldn’t close the week from this level. The closing was at 1.868,40 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. That means Gold lost 0,9% value. Totally 29 MT Gold was traded at Borsa. 

When we look Silverside, we see that silver’s move was parallel with gold. Silver recorded its highest level at 25 usd/oz level but completed the week with 24,08 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. According to last week, white metal lost 1,3 % value. Silver's demand was 15 MT higher than last week at Borsa.
