GOLD REACHED 1400 USD/OZ LAST WEEK AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Rising trend dominated Gold market in Istanbul last week. Price band was very wide as 67 usd/oz. Gold gained ground day by day and reached 1400 usd/oz on Friday. Price rose fast and sharply but trading volume and debth was law. Some of market players just watched and preferred not to take action. During whole week only 3800 KG Gold and 9056 KG Silver changed hands which is a low volume for Borsa Istanbul. Silver price also gained ground and 15.35 usd/oz was recorded as the highest level of the week. 
Important point is the margin difference between markets. Now there are buyers at  Borsa Istanbul for LBMA bars as London Fixing (-) 1.5 – 1.75 usd/oz.
