SILVER HAD A LUCRATİVE WEEK AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Inflation data announced in the US was followed carefully last week. The increase in inflation caused gold to remain under selling pressure. Gold recorded its highest level at 1735,75 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. Despite this, the closing was 1660 usd/oz level. This means that gold lost 4,15% of its value. Transaction volume was average as 15,3 MT at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, gold tried to recover and reached until 1675,42 usd/oz level at international markets. 

Silver had a lucrative week unlike gold. Silver recorded its highest level at 19,65 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. White metal completed the week with the lowest level of 18,90 usd/oz. Compared to last week silver gained 0,5% value. Totally 3,8 MT silver changed hands at Borsa Istanbul.

Borsa İstanbul started its Monday session calmly. Trades with a premium of 15 usd/oz over the spot price were made. There will be no London AM and PM transactions due to Queen Elizabeth's funeral.
